Dave Nelson Greenhouse, L.L.C. in Big Lake, MN has been a local favorite since 1986—bringing vibrant color, fresh produce, and a personal touch to every season.
Each spring, our greenhouse comes alive with garden favorites like geraniums, begonias, marigolds, petunias, and impatiens. Our hanging baskets are a customer favorite, adding instant charm to any outdoor space.
As summer turns to fall, we shift to fresh, homegrown produce—juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, sweet melons, and hearty vegetables like squash, peppers, and cabbage. It’s a celebration of Minnesota’s growing season.
We’re open seasonally through October, with hours that vary. For the latest updates or to place an order, just give us a call.

When is Nelson’s Greenhouse open?

We are open seasonally from May 1st through June 10th for spring planting, and again in the fall until October for harvest produce.
